We are deeply rooted in our mission of being a FORCE for Good, and we’re looking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing, tight-knit therapy team of five superstar clinicians.

What You’ll Do:
In this role, you’ll work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help residents regain independence and improve their quality of life through purposeful, meaningful activity-based therapy.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Educating and encouraging residents in daily living activities and recovery routines.
- Implementing therapy plans involving manual exercises, strength training, and the use of assistive devices.
- Monitoring patient progress and reporting to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Documenting care accurately and timely in-patient records.
- Promoting safety, cleanliness, and adherence to infection control protocols.
- Supporting continuity of care and the therapy team’s treatment goals.
- Maintaining legal, regulatory, and accreditation compliance.
- Staying current with best practices through continued education and training.

- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapy techniques.
- Positive, motivational energy, and a passion for patient care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Dedication to patient confidentiality and ethical care delivery.
Education
- Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Licenses/Certification
- Current Oregon COTA license required – We’ll cover the cost if you don’t have one yet!
- Current CPR certification required
Experience
- Six-month experience in a long-term care environment preferred
