Kids Connections Developmental Therapy Center is a clinician-owned pediatric therapy practice providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy services across four California clinic locations: Simi Valley, Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo, and Rancho Cucamonga.
Founded by Dr. Cynthia Conway, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of pediatric experience, our mission is simple:

We’re looking for a compassionate and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our growing pediatric team. You’ll work with children and adolescents with autism and related developmental disabilities, helping them develop functional skills and greater independence through individualized, engaging, and play-based interventions.
Our multidisciplinary environment allows OTs to collaborate closely with ABA and Speech Therapy professionals to support the whole child and create meaningful, consistent care across settings.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide individualized occupational therapy services to children and adolescents in clinic, home, school, and community settings
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on each child's individual needs, strengths, and goals
- Address areas such as fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, motor planning, self-care, functional communication, and daily living skills
- Use play-based and engaging activities to promote participation, independence, and skill development
- Collect data and document client progress through timely session notes and progress reports
- Provide caregiver education and training to support carryover of skills across environments
- Collaborate with ABA, Speech, and other members of the multidisciplinary team
- Communicate regularly with families, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the child's care
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and continuing education
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Prepare and maintain therapy materials and equipment
- Follow all applicable clinical, safety, and documentation requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
- Current California Occupational Therapist license required
- Active NBCOT certification/OTR registration required
- NPI number and CAQH profile (or willingness to obtain after hire)
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and collaborative approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to pass a background check

Typical Schedule:
- Monday-Friday in-clinic
