COLLEGIATE ATHLETIC TRAINER

Orthopaedic Rehab Specialists is looking for an exceptional Athletic Trainer to join our team of skilled practitioners and dynamic staff. We are currently interviewing for a full-time, licensed Athletic Trainer to work in the Lansing area. This position is a split between a small college and working in a clinical setting. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated with an outgoing personality, and enjoy working with athletes to prevent injury and help them realize their competitive goals. Orthopaedic Rehab Specialists provides a fun, family atmosphere and a collaborative environment for those seeking professional growth.


Your responsibilities will include covering events and being available for practices working to prevent, assess, and treat athletic injuries as well as educate athletes and coaches at the college (up to 30 hours per week). You will also have regular hours seeing patients within our physical therapy clinics. We encourage company involvement through developing relationships with our physical therapists and other staff and participating in marketing activities.

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements

• Must have degree in sports medicine/athletic training from an accredited college or university.

• Must be certified by the NATABOC and be licensed (or eligible to be licensed) in the state of Michigan.
