Department: Manufacturing Engineering
Summary: Working closely with our Manufacturing Engineering team, this position is responsible for, building jigs and fixtures for new products as well as maintaining and adapting current structures for existing products. This position requires a high level of creativity, teamwork, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
Primary Duties:
- Design/build jigs and fixtures
- Troubleshoot issues/ repair existing jigs and fixtures
- Provide training to production personal on fixture operation
- Collaborate with design engineering/manufacturing engineering to ensure quality and product flow
- Participate in planning committees.
- May be involved in product development in assigned product lines.
- Create prototypes and concept ideas for product lines.

Qualifications/Experience:
- 2 year degree preferred in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Cad experience
- Hydraulic/ pneumatic knowledge
- Self-motivated and works independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Team mentality
- Ability to accurately use measuring tools.
- General Understanding of material and other eq. used in fixture design.
- Must have a working knowledge of fabrication and welding processes.
- Must have the ability to lift approximately 50 pounds periodically.
