The Facilities & Maintenance Assistant works directly under the Campus Maintenance Manager, providing hands-on support with daily operations, maintenance, and special projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who enjoys a variety of tasks and takes pride in helping keep the dealership clean, safe, and operating efficiently.
The Facilities & Maintenance Assistant will report directly to the Campus Maintenance Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
· Perform building and grounds maintenance, including litter removal and general upkeep of the parking lot.
· Complete painting projects, including full walls, color changes, touch-ups, and drywall patching.
· Conduct minor electrical repairs, such as replacing light fixtures, outlets, and switches.
· Maintain building exteriors, including pressure washing sidewalks and cleaning windows.
· Move and rearrange office furniture, fixtures, and equipment as needed.
· Assist in diagnosing and resolving HVAC issues, including coil cleaning.
· Support completion of special projects assigned by dealership leadership.
· Assist with safety and compliance checks, including:
· Fire extinguishers
· Eye wash stations
· Emergency exits and signage
· OSHA-related requirements
· Help coordinate and oversee third-party vendors (cleaning crews, landscapers, repair technicians, pest control, etc.) under direction of the Facilities Manager.
· Conduct regular facility walkthroughs to identify maintenance or cleanliness needs.
· Monitor and restock facility supplies, such as cleaning products and maintenance tools.
· Provide support across multiple departments as needed.
· Other duties as assigned.
· Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.
· Report on management of any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.
· Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards according to departmental policies.
· Arrive at work, take breaks, and depart work at the times designated by management.
· Attend meetings and training as scheduled.
· Ensure that work areas and customer waiting areas are kept clean.
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
· Tasks completed accurately and to standard with minimal rework
· Painting, repairs, and maintenance work meet quality expectations
· Projects completed within established timelines
· Proper use and care of tools and equipment
· Efficient use of supplies with minimal waste

MINIMUM Hiring Requirements
· High school graduate or equivalent.
· 18 years or older
· Possess an acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license in state of residence.
· A criminal history background check will be conducted prior to beginning employment.
