The Multi-Modality Technologist is a pivotal member of our healthcare team, responsible for performing diverse diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and compassion. This role involves collaborating closely with radiologists, ensuring accurate interpretation of results, and actively contributing to maintaining the highest standards of medical imaging. Beyond technical proficiency, the technologist is integral in-patient education, emphasizing a positive and supportive experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, CT scans, MRI, Mammo/DEXA, CT scans, and other modalities.
• Position and prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, following established protocols and safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze imaging results.
• Ensure proper documentation of patient information, imaging results, and maintain accurate records.
• Educate and communicate with patients about the procedures, addressing any concerns or questions.
• Stay abreast of advancements in imaging technology and participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety guidelines.
- Certification in Radiography (ARRT)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Multi-Modality Technologist.
- Proficient in operating and troubleshooting various imaging equipment.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Per Diem Rate : $50-55
