ABOUT THE CANDIDATE / ROLE -INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR 

Tradewind Aviation is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic who is an Independent Contractor, to work out of St. Barts. The individual should be attentive to detail and have exceptional problem solving and diverse mechanical skills. Qualified individuals must have  minimum of  2+ years’ experience on the Pilatus PC-12 .  Must be flexible with work schedule and able to work weekends and holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performing all airframe and powerplant maintenance on our fleet of turboprop and light jet aircraft

• Maintaining hangar equipment

• Ad hoc ground operation duties to include, residence facility and crew car maintenance 

• Performing other duties as needed 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant aircraft maintenance license  (2+ Years of experience preferred) 

• Valid SBH License + Clean Driving Record

• Strength to lift 50lbs, and the ability to work in confined spaces.

• Eagerness to learn and willingness to train.

• Required to maintain an adequate set of tools.

• Must be willing to travel to various parts of the Caribbean and the Northeast US for short periods of time.
