Production Supervisor


Main Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for achieving immediate and short-term objectives such as: efficiencies, quality, waste, yield, and safety. 
  • Responsible to point out and participate to obtain efficiencies/product quality and safety improvements. 
  • Sanitize all the Equipment (Mixing Bowls, Dough Carts, Mixing Table, Ingredient Scales etc.)
  •  Keep Ingredient Bins, Compo Bins and Lecithin Tank full.
  •  Supply Production Lines with Dough with the correct timing to prevent no dough situations or the opposite.
  •  Maintain area clean and clear of Hazards following the 5S Standards. 
  • 2nd Shift Mixer is responsible for clean up and putting Ingredients back to there original locations and make sure all Machines are switched off.
  • Set up Mixing Area
  • Check the Production Schedule
  • Weigh up Spices
  • Pre weigh Ingredient for both Shifts
  • Set correct mixing time for the Dough
  • Total up the batches made for the shift
  • Document Compo ingredient errors
  • Sign-out & in form for utensils
  • Verify mixing times


Requirements

Education and skills required: 


HACCP training

Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred

Read/write and proven math skills

Excellent communication skills


Position Requirements:


Standing 100% of the time.

Repetitive motion to keep up with production line

Continuously lifting cases and ingredients of up to 50lbs

Walk to different production positions as per rotation schedule


Experience required: 


Minimum 1 years of Dough mixing experience 


Capabilities:


Able to work with minimum direct supervision. 

Able to interact politely with work colleagues

Able to rotate shifts as needed
