Summary/Overview:
The role of the Quality Control Inspector is to perform inspections of parts in process and prior to shipment for conformance to customer drawings and internal requirements.
Essential Functions:
· Test parts using calibrated assets such as multimeters and HIPOT testers
· Address nonconforming material with Quality Control Supervisor.
· Work with other departments to ensure orders are fulfilled.
· Perform Visual Inspection per approved documentation.
· Utilize safe electrical practices to perform role.
· Use proper controls during tests (Ex. Gloves).
· Evaluate and interpret Engineering drawings.
· Escalate quality concerns as appropriate.

Work Environment:
This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. This job operates in a professional manufacturing environment in a light industrial type setting. This position routinely uses standard manufacturing equipment such as presses, soldering stations, spot welders, punch presses, laminators, ovens, etc. Some of the work will require exposure to loud noises or fumes in the manufacturing environment.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, and typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM - First Shift, 3:00pm to 11:30pm - Second Shift.
Overtime as required.
Required Education and Experience
1. High school diploma required.
2. PC literate with working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
Preferred Education and Experience:
1. Would be nice to have the following training, experience, education, certification, etc. but not a necessity or essential to perform the job.
a. IPC J-STD-001 for controlled soldering experience.
b. IPC/WHMA-1-620 for knowledge of controlled cable crimping and wire harness work.
c. Bilingual (English/Spanish).
