The Production Worker performs product assembly/production functions of custom doors. This position requires production capabilities and analysis of drawings and spec sheets. Equipment to be used includes clamps presses, sanders, nail guns, hand and power tools, and computer. This is an entry level position which will allow you to understand the basics and will allow you to continue to grow into more skilled areas. 

 

The production worker sets up and independently operates all types of basic woodworking/production machines. Must be able to produce quality parts per processing instructions. May operate more complex machinery on a limited basis. Ability to measure is a requirement of the job.

 

Highlights of the roll :

  • Perform assembly and production tasks for custom door products.
  • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Set up and operate basic woodworking and production equipment.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment safely and effectively.
  • Inspect work to ensure quality standards are met and defects are avoided.
  • Follow all safety policies and proactively and promptly report potential hazards or concerns.
  • Always demonstrate a customer-focused mindset and uphold company values.
Requirements

  

You’re a good fit if you have: 

  • Desired background in warehouse, construction, carpentry or manufacturing
  • Must be able to communicate with supervisors and management in English.
  • Reliable and consistent
  • Able to properly complete necessary work documents such as timecards and scheduling reports.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to read a measuring tape. You will be tested during the interview process for this skill. 
  • Completes schedules in order of priority.
  • Understands quality parameters and specifications and performs high-quality work.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for 12-hour shifts.
  • Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Sufficient balance and grip strength to safely perform job duties.
