Position Overview
TCCI is seeking motivated Summer Interns to join our Decatur, IL team for 2026. This paid internship offers an hourly wage of $16–$20 and provides hands-on experience in a professional manufacturing environment. Interns will gain exposure to production planning, sales forecasting, transportation, construction management, and cross-functional business operations while contributing to meaningful projects that support company growth initiatives.
In this role, our Interns will work with internal stakeholders inside our Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure the Company produces a high-quality product that meets the needs of our customers. Additionally, this role will work with customers, end users, and at times, our suppliers, to help them develop solutions that meet their manufacturing, design, and applications needs.
This position is onsite at our Decatur, IL facility. Please note that relocation, housing assistance, and travel reimbursement are not provided. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of Decatur, IL.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as data entry, reporting, scheduling, and presentation preparation
- Supporting production planning, forecasting, and transportation coordination activities
- Participating in research and analysis to support operational improvements
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery
- Assisting with customer, end-user, and supplier communication as needed
- Supporting planning efforts related to the demolition and rebuild of our Decatur, IL facility
- Contributing ideas during team meetings to improve processes and efficiency
- Performing additional projects and duties as assigned
Key Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership through academics, student organizations, volunteer work, or extracurricular involvement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing floor environments
Education
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
