Description
Are you a caregiver looking to assist with the daily operations of a group home? As a team lead DSP, you will be in one of our local group homes, working with a team of DSPs, and helping adults with intellectual disabilities to achieve their goals.
There are two full time schedules: Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm, with a rate of pay ranging from $19.25 to $21.75/hour. There is also a Wednesday through Saturday 6am to 6pm position, with an average rate of pay of $21.66-$24.47/hour.
Responsibilities for Team Lead DSP:
- Day-to-day operations of the group home to include coordination of actives, appointments
- Liaison between home and other departments
- Collection of monthly paperwork
- Management and oversight of medication
- Ensuring the completion of all required documentation
- Primary point of contact for the home in absence of the house manager
- Working closely with team members to ensure individuals needs are met

Requirements
- At least two (2) years of experience as a Direct Support Professional
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Maine driver's license
- Must be good with people, work well both independently and as a team player.
- Must be comfortable, or willing to learn how to support, individuals with various levels of disability in a variety of different settings.
