Description
The Welder welds together metal components of various metal types as specified by documents, sketches, drawings or verbal direction, using arc-welding equipment. Capable of certifying on welding processes GTAW and SMAW using company-approved welding procedure specifications (WPS). Ability to perform work activities with minimum supervision.
Requirements
- Take and pass a company welding test (2" schedule 80 carbon steel pipe 6G position)
- Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
- Make decisions based on measurable criteria.
- Set-up and operate various types of arcwelding and cutting equipment.
- Plan work and select proper tools.
