Position Specifications: 


Wholesale & Correspondent Mortgage Account Executive role is the primary client manager for an assigned group of NexBank clients, typically in a defined geographic area. The Account Executive is responsible for the day-to-day management of client relationships and new business development with prospective clients. The successful candidate will have extensive wholesale and correspondent sales experience and relationships in their assigned territory, and support the efforts of the Sales Manager and clients by developing new business and managing their assigned territory. They will effectively promote the NexBank value proposition through the sale of company products, services, and programs to grow volume/profitability while maximizing business opportunities. Account Executives will work in a team environment, across the channel, supporting each other and the needs of all Wholesale & Correspondent Lending clients. Competitive Drive, Teamwork, flexibility, and the ability to develop and share best practices will be necessary traits of a successful candidate. 

 

 Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support Wholesale & Correspondent Lending channel business plan objectives
  • Effectively solicit Wholesale & Correspondent prospects via networking and cold calling to assess opportunity and pre-qualify based on NexBank approval requirements. Primary focus is on Wholesale & Non-Delegated Correspondent clients, but also allowed to solicit Delegated Correspondent clients.
  • Regular travel to visit clients on-site or at industry conferences to conduct regular sales calls to review business, provide guidance/feedback and uncover new opportunities to expand partnerships
  • Drive client activity across NexBank breadth of products and delivery options – including Wholesale and Correspondent (Delegated and Non-Delegated), & Warehouse Lending according to client needs/market conditions
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge/understanding of each client’s business and how NexBank can maximize each client relationship
  • Partner with Operations to improve purchase efficiency via by reducing suspensions, decreasing turn times and increasing First Pass %
  • Managing purposeful and effective client communication as directed by management including the compilation and distribution of key reports, sales/operational strategy, lender recognition, and client retention planning
  • Prepares and delivers presentations to prospective and current customers via effective sales techniques and using company marketing and communication resources and tools as appropriate
  • Ensures client readiness by conducting, arranging and/or facilitating client readiness appropriate education, training, and knowledge of NexBank products, programs, processes, and technology
  • Serve as a client advocate, deliver full-circle client satisfaction while simultaneously creating and implementing process improvements to improve the client experience
  • Develops proficient understanding of internal technology and processes to educate and train clients on NexBank policies, loan programs, and delivery protocols in accordance with company guidelines
Requirements

Job Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate is familiar with Agency guidelines and other loan programs.
  • Minimum of 5 Years of Experience as a Mortgage TPO Sales Representative
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and account development skills.
  • Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, and Non-QM
  • Asset Depletion (no income, no employment)
  • DSCR (Business Purpose Debt Coverage Ratio loan)
  • Warehouse Lines
