Job Title: Line Locator

Job Description:

Standard Safety & Supply is seeking skilled Line Locators to join our team. The ideal candidate(s) will have experience in both oil field line locating and poly line locating. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct line locating activities in oil field and poly line environments

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

- Accurately document and report findings

- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient operations

- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in oil field line locating preferred

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in poly line locating preferred

- Strong understanding of line locating techniques and equipment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Work Environment: 

Work is conducted in both indoor office settings, and outdoor jobsite settings. Environmental conditions will vary.  

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, climb, type, carry up to 40 lbs, pushing and bending. May be required to occasionally work at heights and in confined space. 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Willing to work different shifts and travel up to 80% of the time. 

Travel

Travel to various worksites is required.
