Description

Spotts, Stevens and McCoy is currently recruiting for a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer who will work with our engineering staff to support our existing and future work in the water, water resources, and wastewater engineering markets on projects such as municipal treatment facilities, water distribution systems, sewer collection systems, and water and sewer system planning.


Primary Responsibilities

  • A wide and varied range of experience in water and wastewater treatment projects, including sludge handling for municipal and industrial clients, Planning Modules and Act 537 Sewage Planning, and some water and sewer piping design.
  • At least 10 to 20 years of direct consulting experience (or at least 10 years of municipal water and wastewater process and/or design experience).
  • Demonstrated direct client and project management responsibility is a plus.
  • Experience with client and project management cost estimating and report writing.
  • Experience with marketing and proposal writing is preferred.
  • A background in multi-disciplinary facility design is preferred.
  • A solid understanding of the principles of water and wastewater treatment processes and their applications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or commensurate experience required.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in engineering.
  • PE required.

This position is based out of our Reading PA office; however, there may be flexibility for a hybrid-remote work model.
