Flynn Energy is looking for a Propane Service Technician to support our Propane Operations Department. In this role, you will install propane tanks and perform leak checks for our customers. This is a local position that offers competitive pay and work/life balance. The goal of a service tech is to provide best in class service, provide knowledgeable diagnostics, ensure the safe installation, and use of equipment, and represent the company positively while creating a great customer experience.

2 years of experience in propane is preferred but not required – will train to suit

Experience with installing, servicing and troubleshooting residential and/or commercial propane equipment a plus

CDL license with Hazmat endorsement (or able to obtain Hazmat endorsement) a plus

Excellent technical skills/ technical experience

Experience with basic hand, power and diagnostic tools; 

Ability to lift/pull up to 60 pounds; 

Safe driving record;

Ability to perform and meet the physical demands of the role;

Customer Service oriented;

Available for on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergency deliveries and service;

Must pass a drug test and background check

Responsibilities

Install propane tanks and/or assist with tank installation

Perform system/leak tests as needed

Set and install propane tanks

Conduct system tests consistent with company standards and policies
