Saw Operator
Description

The OMGA Saw Operator is responsible for configuring and operating saw machinery, ensuring product quality and contributing to a safe and productive work environment. 


Role and Responsibilities / Essential Functions


· Configure and set up the OMGA saw machine, making necessary adjustments for various jobs.

· Operate the saw machine efficiently while monitoring for defects or operational issues.

· Inspect components using measuring and precision tools to ensure they meet specifications.

· Perform automated and/or manual saw cutting with accuracy.

· Maintain detailed activity logs and ensure all work adheres to quality standards.

· Collaborate effectively with team members to complete tasks and projects.

· Adhere to all safety protocols and workplace guidelines.

· Undertake miscellaneous tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors.


Required Skills / Abilities / Competencies


· Proficient in reading a tape measure and perform basic mathematical calculations.

· Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.

· Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.

· Willingness to learn and continuously improve.

Requirements

Education and Experience


· Education: A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.

· Experience: A minimum of one year in a manufacturing environment is preferred. OMGA Saw machinery experience a plus.

· Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States.


Mental/Physical Requirements


· Physical Mobility: Capacity to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend frequently during work hours.

· Lifting Capability: Must be capable of lifting to 50 pounds using proper techniques.

Work Environment: Ability to operate effectively in high-heat conditions.
