Job Title: Heavy Haul Driver

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Haul Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting oversized and heavy loads safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of transportation regulations and the ability to navigate various road conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate heavy haul trucks and trailers to transport oversized loads.

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.

- Plan and execute routes that comply with state and federal regulations.

- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding load status and any issues that arise.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the road.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.

- Proven experience as a heavy haul driver or in a similar role.

- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.

- Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• 2-5 years experience required
• Knowledgeable/experienced with loading/unloading heavy equipment, i.e. dozers, loaders, trackhoes and backhoes
• Familiar with Electronic Logs
• Experience Lowboy Trailer operation
• Properly secure equipment for transportation
