The Material Kitting Assistant works with the Material Kitting Coordinator to pull, organize, label and stage materials and components required for production kits.
· Pull materials for production jobs based on work orders, bills of material (BOMs), and pick lists
· Build complete, organized kits for jobs scheduled for production
· Verify part numbers, quantities, and descriptions
· Label and package materials clearly
· Stage completed kits for transfer.
· Report shortages and discrepancies.
· Maintain organized work area
· Stage materials for transfer between facilities
· Maintain organized kitting areas
· Assist with cycle counts and audits

· Demonstrated organizational ability and ability to work effectively under deadlines and with multiple agendas
· Experience in a manufacturing environment, and work with an ERP system preferred
· Ability to operate various material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts).
· Computer skills including familiarity with Office
· Ability to work, and communicate across various departments
· Ability to receive and retain instructional information
· Must be able to communicate (read, write and speak) the English language clearly
· Ability to read and interpret drawings and production schedules.
· Maintain all safety standards and guidelines at all times.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to perform the duties required for material handling, including the ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand, bend, or work in various positions throughout the shift.
