Core Industrial Maintenance is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team of skilled tradespeople. We are looking for a dependable, safety-minded individual with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience working with industrial equipment and machinery.

This position involves working in a variety of industrial environments and requires frequent travel to customer job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
  • Install, remove, repair, and replace industrial equipment and components.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and determine appropriate repairs.
  • Perform equipment alignments, adjustments, and inspections.
  • Assist with machinery installation, shutdowns, outages, and plant maintenance projects.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and maintenance equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Perform basic fabrication, cutting, grinding, and welding as needed.
  • Safely rig, lift, move, and position equipment and materials.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure equipment is operating safely and properly.
  • Follow all company and customer safety procedures, including proper lockout/tagout practices.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in industrial maintenance, millwright work, manufacturing maintenance, or a related field.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Experience with bearings, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, pumps, and other industrial equipment.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
  • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to customer locations.
  • Ability to work safely in industrial environments and follow site-specific safety requirements.


Requirements

- High School Diploma or Equivalent- TIG Welding experience in an industrial setting

- Professional experience as a Millwright and/or completion of an accredited millwright training program

- Pipefitting experience in an industrial setting

- Knowledge of industry standard concepts, practices, and procedures
