Position Objective:
To secure the placement of high impact, thought-provoking advertising via various mediums including outdoor, print news media, TV, radio, and other innovative forms of offline advertising to advance animal rights
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
• Manage offline advertising placement projects from initiation to completion
• Develop and implement strategies for generating powerful, timely ad placements to raise awareness about animal rights issues
• Establish and maintain relationships with sales representatives and negotiate reduced-rate or free placements
• Determine the impact of various advertising options and make recommendations based on these determinations
• Create and maintain detailed records of all projects
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
• Degree in a related field or two years’ experience working in a professional environment
• An interest in advertising and public relations
• Proven excellent project-management, strategic-thinking, and analytical skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Capability to make connections and maintain relationships with a variety of people in a professional manner
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, meet and set deadlines, and stay organized
• Proven ability to take initiative and follow-through
• Ability to make sound judgments and work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with a consistent pattern of proactively suggesting solutions
• Knowledge of animal rights issues and campaigns and a desire to pursue a career in animal rights
• Adherence to a healthy vegan lifestyle
• Support for PETA's philosophy and the ability to professionally advocate PETA's positions on issues in a professional manner

The salary range for this position is $45,000 to $67,724.80 annually. The ultimate salary within this range that will be offered to a qualified candidate will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and the cost of living in the area in which the candidate will live and work.
