A/R Manager
Description

The Accounts Receivable (A/R) Manager oversees the financial transactions related to incoming payments within a company. This role is responsible for developing and implementing accounting procedures, managing a team of A/R staff, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, collections, and payments, and maintaining financial records. The manager also analyzes accounts to identify trends and discrepancies, prepares reports for senior management, collaborates with other departments to streamline processes, and ensures compliance with financial regulations. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software are essential for success in this position. 


Essential Duties  

· Accounts Receivable

   o Oversee/maintain AR subledger

   o File mechanic liens and abandoned truck paperwork

   o Resolve NSF checks and disputed credit card transactions

   o Evaluate and establish new customer credit limits; analyze and update current limits

   o Assist AR staff as needed

· Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by manager 

· Advanced Excel skills preferred (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)


Requirements

Qualifications, Education, and/or Experience

· Relevant experience 3 to 5 years

· Supervisory experience 1+ years



Compensation:  $65,000 - $85,000 per year,  depending on relevant experience.
