Description

OCH is expanding and is currently seeking a Sr. System Architect to join our team of uniquely talented, diverse professionals for a large Government project. As a Systems Architect you will focus on designing, configuring,  managing and supporting the Archer platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing the system implementation, as well as gather customer requirements, design custom customer workflows/integrations to meet requirements, and implementing, integrating, maintaining, updating, and sustaining all workflows hosted on the platform for multiple customers. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can ensure the stability, security, and performance of the Archer system while providing technical oversight and guidance to stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your System Engineering skills and contribute to OCH's continued success and growth.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Analyze and resolve end user software program and connectivity issues. 
  • Provide end user training. 
  • Create and maintain cohesive and concise technical documentation for the system itself as well as for each individual customer workflow and as requested otherwise for PMO purposes. 
  • Recommend technology direction to align with business vision. 
  • Provide both local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems deployed at more than one location. This support includes general maintenance, upgrades, and new installs of servers and applications.
  • Apply advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing applications, and ensuring fault tolerance. 
  • Perform vulnerability management.
  • Coordinate and perform various types of system administration functions and support to include (but not limited to) providing all system administration support functions for the Technical Support Services team 
  • Install, configure, and maintain Archer software products.
  • Identify and perform data migration efforts and/or interface requirements.
  • Perform system deployment and adherence to lifecycle management policies and procedures, including (but not limited to) support for software / technology refresh activities.
  • Install GFE, apply patches, manage file systems, monitor performance and troubleshoot alerts from monitoring tools as required.
  • Provide support for necessary interfaces to embedded systems such as data extraction and data insertion.
  • Conduct application regulatory change reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory changes.
  • Perform system failure analysis and recovery to ensure the consistency and integrity of file systems.
  • Maintain security postures as designated by the assigned Information System Security Manager (ISSM).
  • Provide, test, implement, and validate system security patching, software updates, service patches, upgrades, and configuration/policy changes while adhering to the Configuration Management (CM) process to ensure full compliance with DoD Information Assurance (IA) Directives, Federal IA policies/regulations, internal IA protocols, and JTF-GNO directives or Tasking’s as well as security implementation/compliance requirements (such as DISA Security Technical Information Guides (STIGs), Gold Disk, vulnerability Scans, etc.).
  • Configure and maintain system backups to conform to IA controls requirements.
  • Maintain the integrity of the system and provide audit trails / transaction logging.
  • Perform system / application diagnostics through the use of GFE to ensure availability and/or provide notification of problems to administrators.
  • Perform additional system administration support services as identified within the scope of services.

Requirements


Minimum Qualifications:


Education:  Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Preferred but not mandatory).

Experience:

  • Seven (7) years of progressive experience in the field of Information Processing, six (6) of which are specialized in numerous specialized Information Processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions, four (4) of which are concentrated, hands-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software.
  • Five (5) years of proven hands-on experience in systems administration with a focus on Archer. 
  • Five (5) years of proven hands-on experience in systems integrations with a focus on Archer integrations desired.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Sensitivity Level: IT-I – Critical Sensitive Clearance: Secret
  • IA Level: IAT II
  • Computing Environment: MCSA 2003, MCSE 2003, M2003 NET 4, M2008 NET 7, MCITP SA, MCITP EA, CSA:WS2012, MCSE:WS2012, MCSA:WS2008, MCSM:DS, M2012 NET, MCM: Windows Server 2008: Directory, MCA: MS Windows Server Directory, CCAA, GCWN M


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in developing and customizing ServiceNow applications using ServiceNow Studio.
  • Deep knowledge of core modules like Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Policies, and Service Catalog.
  • Advanced experience with ServiceNow integrations, including REST and SOAP APIs.

Other Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Must possess current RSA Archer Administrator certification.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract. 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain a IT-I Critical Sensitive or equivalent security clearance.
