Job Responsibilities

  • Perform system design, preventative maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of Direct Digital Control (DDC) Systems.
  • Trouble shoot issues that arise during service visits and repair as needed.
  • Assist with startup, commission and re-commission of customer systems that utilize electrical/electronic technology
  • Provide exemplary service to clients
  • Respond to emergency calls in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with customers on diagnostics and repair of complex systems malfunctions requiring knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital controls systems
  • Meets regularly with customer to become familiar with operating problems.
  • Adheres to all Hawks and customer safety standards
  • Participates in training classes as assigned and conducts extensive self-study to develop  technical proficiency in the company's product lines. 
  • Complete documentation on time including timesheets, expense reports, work orders, on-site requirements and XOI's.

Requirements
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Basic understanding of control logic
  • experience troubleshooting DDC systems.
  • Must be service oriented and willing to work effectively with customers' on-site staff
  • Prior experience in HVAC and/or Building Automation preferred
  • Technical Business School Certificate/Diploma OR post high school training with a minimum of 3+ years' experience.
  • Strong mechanical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Ability to use hand/power tools and electrical testing equipment.
  • Ability to climb ladders in excess of 8 feet above ground level and lifting items up to 50 pounds.
