Description

 

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and provide appropriate counseling to patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Review and interpret prescription orders to verify accuracy and appropriateness
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medication histories and interactions
  • Oversee and manage the pharmacy's inventory, ordering and restocking medications as needed
  • Provide information and guidance to customers regarding over-the-counter medications and health-related products
  • Monitor patient health and progress to identify any potential issues or complications
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and medication-related questions
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote patient wellness and disease prevention
Requirements

 

  • Licensed Pharmacist with a valid state license
  • Proven experience as a Retail Pharmacist or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, dosage forms, and drug interactions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with precision and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of pharmacy software and technology
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality and privacy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Continuing education to stay updated on pharmaceutical advancements and industry trends
Salary Description
$55-65/hour
