Description
Interact with customers throughout all phases of the sales process. Responsible for identifying customer needs and ensuring customers have a positive experience from start to finish.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- First point of contact between CCP and it's customers.
- Explain features and benefits of products and services to customers.
- Identify and contact prospective customers through networking, trade shows, and lead generation strategies to build sales pipeline.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations to key decision-makers, highlighting the value of the proposed manufacturing service and product.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contract details with customers to secure profitable sales.
- Prepare sales contracts and ensure accurate order details (pricing, fulfillment, etc.).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication, addressing concerns, and providing ongoing support.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, market indicators to identify new opportunities and adjust sales strategy as needed.
- Track sales performance, prepare sales reports, and analyze data to identify areas of improvement.
- Develop in-depth product and process knowledge to answer customer questions and address technical concerns.
- Processing all sales transactions (quote, negotiation, purchase order, etc.).
- Provide "after-sale" services.
- Perform other general sales duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in the plastics industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiating abilities.
- Technical knowledge and understanding of process, products, and industry.
- Relationship building and customer service skills.
- Travel flexibility.
