What You’ll Do:
- Perform driving duties in support of the facility and residents.
- Safely transport residents to doctors' appointments and organized outings.
- Report significant changes in resident’s condition or poor tolerance for travel.
- Complete a safety checklist and takes corrective action prior to operating facility vehicles
- Assist residents to enter and exit the vehicle.
- Make deliveries, pick up supplies and equipment and load and unload vehicle.
- Take vehicle for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
What We're Looking For:
- Skilled at operating a motor vehicle safely.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members and facility staff.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to be patient and polite.
- Knowledge of vehicle operations and maintenance procedures.

Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Licenses/Certification
Valid driver’s license required.
Current CPR certification required.
Experience
Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
Previous experience as a courtesy driver preferred
All employees of Cascadia Healthcare are required to submit and be cleared to work in the facility per each state’s specific background check requirements prior to contact with patients/residents.
