Athletics Compliance Graduate Assistant


Northwest Nazarene University Northwest Nazarene University is accepting applications for the position of Athletic Compliance Graduate Assistant to begin in Summer 2025.


This is a part-time position that reports to the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Student Services.


Essential Functions

  • Assist with the monitoring of NCAA academic, amateurism, eligibility, financial aid, countable athletic activity, recruiting, and camps and clinics rules
  • Utilize NCAA Compliance Assistant and compliance software for documentation
  • Provide education and interpretation of NCAA rules, policies and regulations for students, coaches, and athletic staff
  • Assist with reporting of information required by the NCAA and GNAC
  • Assist with the preparation of NCAA eligibility lists, national letters of intent, financial aid agreements, and waivers
Requirements

 Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Acceptance into NNU’s Graduate School
  • High motivation and commitment to the University, organizational skills, the ability to self-start, be calm under pressure, meet deadlines, work without direct supervision, multi-task, problem solve, and relate to a variety of personalities under diverse circumstances

Compensation


Full-time graduate school tuition (not including our doctoral programs or an MS in Counseling) and $3,000 per year stipend. A two-year commitment is preferred, renewed after one year based on satisfactory academic and work-related performance.
