The Role 

TRIANA seeks an enthusiastic Northeastern University CoOp candidate for a six month hands-on 

laboratory experience. This role will support current efforts of our full-time research staff and is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in cell and molecular biology. This opportunity is for six months from July to December 2025. Full-time, Monday through Friday in our Lexington, Mass-based headquarters. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Culture mammalian cell lines, DNA and siRNA transfection 
  • Detect proteins by Western Blot and immunofluorescence staining 
  • Gene expression analysis by PCR and qRT-PCR 
  • Record experiments and communicate data with manager and colleagues in group meetings 

Qualifications: 

  • Basic bench skillset with hands-on experience in molecular and cell biology techniques such as cell culture, colony formation, cell viability assay, cell cycle analysis 
  • Good verbal and writing skills for data documentation, drafting reports and communication to team members 
  • Team-oriented, open mindset, independent, enthusiastic, and collaborative 

Education/experience: 

  • B.S. Candidate in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry or related discipline.
