Description

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dining Services Associate to join our team. This position plays a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to meal service and resident engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

- Set up dining service areas and ensure a welcoming environment for residents during meal times.

- Provide meal service in the dining room and assist with clean-up after meals.

- Deliver meals to residents in their rooms and collect trays afterward to maintain cleanliness and organization.

- Transport meals to other locations as needed; a valid driver’s license is required for this task.

- Engage with residents through participation in various activities to enhance their dining experience.

- Attend mandatory team meetings and training courses to stay updated on best practices and policies.

- Comply with all Assisted Living policies and procedures as set forth by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, including CPR training and other required certifications.


Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with residents.

- Organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

- Willingness to learn and adhere to health and safety regulations.

• Be reliable and willing to work as a team member.

Reliable transportation

• Understand the importance of safety, health, and hygiene. 

• Experience working with older adults preferred.

Ability to successfully pass CORI process.

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English is required.

• Good communication skills required.

• Able to work a flexible schedule/assigned shift including some evenings and weekends.

• Must have an amiable personality and be able to relate well with others.
