JOB MISSION 

Pacific Lifestyle Homes is seeking a skilled Senior Drafter to create precise plot plans, architectural drafts, and address-specific plans while ensuring compliance with local permitting procedures. This full-time position as a Senior Drafter, offers an exciting career opportunity to coordinate with engineering partners, provide prompt customer and permit support, and maintain organized documentation. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and dedicated to delivering exceptional work that supports our company's growth and excellence.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

We have an in person work culture with a general work schedule of 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Requirements

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating Technical Drawings: Develop accurate 2D CAD technical drawings from conceptual sketches or plans to final construction drawings.  
  • Collaborating with Designers/Engineers: Work closely with design and engineers to understand design requirements and specifications. 
  • Ensuring Compliance: Maintain designs and drawings according to industry and company standards.  
  • Utilizing CAD Software: Proficiently use CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) for creating and modifying designs.  
  • Maintaining Records: Keep track of revisions and updates to drawings and specifications. 
  • Ensuring Final designs comply with regulations and quality standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate's degree with 5+ years of applicable drafting experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience; bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Extensive residential construction or home remodeling drafting experience.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, with experience guiding junior drafters.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to establish rapport.
  • Professional demeanor can work with various stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; must effectively handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with building codes and permitting standards in WA and OR is preferred.
  • Experience with MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD is required; Revit experience is also desirable.
  • Previous hands-on construction experience (e.g., framing) is helpful but not required.
Salary Description
$31.00 - $38.50 [Total Comp Plan - DOE]
