Description

JOB OVERVIEW

Maintain Kitchen and restaurant equipment and utensils in a clean and orderly condition.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  1. Scrape and spray food from dirty dishes, and place them in racks (do not overload) push into dishwashing machine.
  2. Spray out soup bowls and rack.
  3. Load full glass, cup, and mug racks into machine.
  4. Scrub inside and outside of all pots and pans, then run through machine.
  5. Empty all trash cans.
  6. Hose-out garbage cans.
  7. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
  8. Notify supervisors of any loss or breakage.
  9. Return dishes, pans, etc. to proper storage areas.
  10. Maintain the cleanliness of the loading dock.
  11. Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
  12. Contribute to overall resort team effort by completing additional duties as assigned.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

Kitchen, Dishwashing area, Racquets, Birdwood, Pavilion, loading dock and related areas



Requirements

Essential

  1. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions.
  2. Ability to communicate orally with co-workers and supervisors.
  3. Ability to work 5-7 days per week in rotational shifts, if needed, including holidays and weekends.


Desirable

  1. High school diploma preferred.
