Best-One Fleet Service/Zolman Tire, Inc. – Seeking a full time Box Truck Driver 

Locally owned and operated, Zolman Tire, Inc. has serviced the automotive, light truck and commercial repair, tire, and wheel needs of customers throughout the Mishawaka, IN area since 1978. Over the years we have expanded into nine retail locations in Mishawaka, IN, Granger, IN, South Bend, IN, Niles, MI, Portage, MI, and Kalamazoo, MI and five commercial fleet locations in Mishawaka, IN, South Bend, IN, Galesburg, MI, Benton Harbor, MI, and Jackson, MI. 

We are seeking experienced box truck drivers who value safety and teamwork. Hours requirements are 7:30AM-5:00PM M-F, with willingness to work overtime as needed. If you are enthusiastic about the automotive repair industry, reliable, and have a positive attitude, please apply!

Essential Functions:

• Pulls product per tickets and loads vehicle for delivery of product

• Unload vehicle at location; Check delivered products against shipping papers

• Operates vehicle in accordance with Zolman Tire, OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act) and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, state and federal laws.

• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and documents checks utilizing the standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report).

• Immediately reports all unsafe situations, service related issues, incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage to General Manager.

• Follows route assignments as directed and completes any end of day documentation.

• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout the warehouse floor and seating area.

• Regularly check the trash receptacles, emptying as needed, in all areas of the site.

• Assists in warehouse with other responsibilities as needed

Physical Demands:

• Frequently lift/carry/move 50-80 lbs.

• Standing, walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Experience: 1-3 years experience driving a box truck

Certifications / Licenses:

• Valid driver’s license; driving record must meet company’s insurance requirements

• Valid DOT medical card (company con provide)

• Ongoing training is required per company’s standards
