What You'll Do:

  • Greet on-site customers in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Confirm the total amount due and collect payments from customers, ensuring accurate and timely records are maintained.
  • Verify ownership and release vehicles to their rightful owners once payment is received and all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Escort customers to and from their vehicles, offering assistance as needed during the release process.
  • Move/tow vehicles on the impound lot as needed to minimize customer inconvenience and reduce retrieval times.
  • Keep the lot free of trash and debris, ensuring a clean, safe, and professional environment.
  • Maintain a general security presence on-site, helping to deter vandalism and theft.
  • Handle difficult or tense situations with calm, ensuring customer issues are addressed efficiently and professionally.

What We Offer:

  • Paid, On-the-Job Training: We invest in your growth from day one, with training provided at $16 per hour
  • Competitive Compensation: Average hourly pay of $16-$18/hour.
  • Flexible Scheduling: This full-time (40 hours per week) position offers either a 3 or 4 day weekend.  Release Agents have the option of two flexible work scheduling choices - a four-day week (Mon-Thurs) of 10 hour shifts or a three-day week (Fri-Sun) of 12 hour shifts.  The Fri-Sun schedule is only 36 hours per week, but pays at 40 hours.  Great work-life balance!

Requirements

What You'll Need:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Ability to interact professionally and courteously with customers, resolving issues and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Prior experience in customer-facing roles such as valet, concierge, security, or customer service is highly valued.
  • Ability to maintain a general security presence on-site and deter vandalism or theft while interacting with customers.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate payment collection and documentation during vehicle release processes.
  • Strong Initiative and ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining communication with the team.
  • Ability to walk the lot to escort customers to vehicles and perform basic lot maintenance duties.
  • Acceptable criminal background history.
  • Clear pre-employment drug screen.
  • Acceptable driving history.

Acceptable Driving History:

No employee in a driving-related position may have any of the following:

  • Any drug or alcohol related offenses in connection with the operation of a motor vehicle – including, but not limited to, open container, possession, or refusal of a BAC test
  • Leaving the scene of an accident or eluding police
  • Careless, reckless, or negligent driving
  • Exhibition, speed contest, or racing
  • Any speeding violation in excess of 25 mph in a motor vehicle
  • Any speeding violation over 80 mph
  • Any violation for hit-and-run, manslaughter, or use of a motor vehicle for felonious purposes
  • Any hit-and-run accident
  • Any felony involving a motor vehicle
  • Misrepresentation of providing false information for a police report
  • License is currently suspended/expired/revoked
  • Driving without proper license and/or endorsements
  • Restricted driving privileges (i.e. to and from work only, while at work in a personal auto, occupational license, etc.)
  • Driver is medically disqualified
  • No more than one violation for following too closely
  • No more than three moving violations during the previous 36 month period
  • No more than two moving violations during the previous 24 month period
  • No more than one moving violation during the previous 12 month period
  • No more than one at-fault accident during the previous 36 month period
  • More than two accidents during the previous 36 month period will require accident reports proving that no more than one of the accidents was at-fault and must be submitted to underwriting for additional approval
  • Any suspension within the previous 24 month period
  • Any violation for operating a motor vehicle while under suspension or with an expired license
