Position Summary

The Plumbing Service Technician I is an entry-level role responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial plumbing systems. This position is ideal for individuals starting their plumbing career who want to gain hands-on experience while being trained and mentored by experienced plumbers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems including water supply lines, fixtures, drains, and piping.
   
• Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues under supervision.
   
• Support senior plumbers with tools, materials, and job preparation.
   
• Perform basic tasks such as cutting pipe, assembling fittings, and cleaning work areas.
   
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good condition.
   
• Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA standards.
   
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Bleuwave professionally.
   
• Document work performed and assist with basic job reporting.
   

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
   
• 0–2 years of plumbing or construction experience (apprenticeship or trade school preferred but not required).
   
• Basic knowledge of plumbing systems and hand/power tools.
   
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.
   
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
   
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks in various environments.
   
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
