Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at the Outpatient Surgical Center. The Charge Nurse will oversee nursing staff, ensure high-quality patient care, and manage daily operations within the surgical center. This role requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities to ensure efficient patient care delivery.

- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and best practices in patient care.

- Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering professional development.

- Manage inventory and supplies to ensure the surgical center is adequately stocked.

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to policy development.

Requirements

 

- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.

- Experience in an outpatient surgical setting is highly desirable.

- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
