Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orthopedic Nurse to join our team at our orthopedic clinic. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assist with orthopedic clinic operations, and support patients throughout their treatment journey. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.


Key Responsibilities:

- Provide nursing care to patients with orthopedic conditions, including pre-operative and post-operative care.

- Assist providers during orthopedic procedures and examinations.

- Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.

- Educate patients and their families about orthopedic conditions, treatment options, and post-operative care.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.

Requirements

- Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) in Iowa

- Previous experience in orthopedic nursing or a related field is preferred but not required

- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
