Job Title: Caregiver
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care and companionship. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
- Monitor and record clients' health and behavior, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Help clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
- Administer medications and manage medical appointments as directed.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
