Payroll Coordinator
Description

Mathew Zaheri Enterprises is in immediate need of a qualified Full-Time Payroll Coordinator to

facilitate activities regarding employee compensation. You will undertake a variety of tasks such

as entering payroll information, calculating wages, and processing payrolls for both our weekly

and semi-monthly employees.


An excellent payroll coordinator has a great understanding of the concept of confidentiality. You will

be experienced in entering data with attention to detail and have the ability to make the

necessary calculations. The ideal candidate will be a thorough professional with good

communication abilities to carry out all payroll procedures with speed and accuracy.


Responsibilities

  • Manage compensation using payroll software.
  • Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees.
  • Calculate pay according to hours worked incorporating leaves and overtime.
  • Calculate bonuses and commissions when appropriate.
  • Update paper and electronic payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes etc.
  • Investigate and  resolve any discrepancies in payroll.
  • Prepare and submit reports with payroll information to supervisor.


Requirements
  • Proven experience as payroll clerk or payroll coordinator.
  • Familiarity with general accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Familiarity with benefits administration procedures
  • Proficiency in technical accounting tasks such as account reconciliation and general ledger accounting
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze payroll data effectively
  • Other duties as assigned.
