We’re honored to welcome The Driskill Hotel into the MML family—revitalizing Austin’s most iconic hotel while honoring its storied past. Within The Driskill, we operate three unique concepts:
- 1886 Café & Bakery, a charming nod to European coffee houses, offers French-inspired pastries and Texan favorites in a grand Victorian setting.
- The Victorian, a reimagined Western pub, features a two-level barroom, mezzanine lounge, live music, and bold, elevated fare.
- The Driskill Bar & Grill brings a fresh take on the classic American steakhouse with timeless design, impeccable service, and a menu built for both business and celebration.
As a Expo/Food Runner, you will help guide guests through the dining experience. We have high expectations for hard work and attention to detail. Qualities we look for in this position include a genuine interest in food and beverage, the desire to create memorable experiences for our guests, and dedication to hard work.
What you'll do:
- Maintain standards of food and beverage quality and standards of service
- Anticipate and address guest needs and concerns
- Communicate with other staff and management regarding the needs of guests
- Complete all side work as assigned
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Support other servers and kitchen staff in duties as required
- Other duties as assigned

- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
- Minimum of 1 year as food runner experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of being on your feet per shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
