*Office location preferably in Damariscotta.

Functions:

Responsible for the sales and support of the bank’s Cash Management Products. Will be involved in sales planning, marketing initiatives and product development and/or deployment of enhancements to ensure the success of our cash management program. 


Duties:

  • When working with clients and prospects will develop a detailed understanding of:
    • The client's financial and operational processes.
    • Key criteria for decision making
    • Technology, and
    • Competitive pressures.
  • Will respond to RFP’s for cash management services and develop presentations about our product line as needed
  • Will be responsive to company’s goals and driving to win new business
  • Will work to balance the acquisition of new business and provide excellent customer service with the need to minimize the bank’s exposure to loss and fraud.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to policies, procedures, regulations and laws for the department and the organization to protect assets and reputation of the bank
  • Supports the day-to-day transactions and problem resolutions in compliance with banking regulations, policies and procedures, credit quality and credit policy procedures.
  • Sets-up, installs and trains commercial clients regarding cash management products and services.
  • Maintains cash management files in an orderly fashion and prepares all information for scanning.
  • Cross sells products and services
  • Interfaces with core vendor for system enhancements, updates and parameter changes.
  • Assists with tracking and reporting of merchant card customers.
  • Performs annual customer cash management reviews.
  • Works closely with Commercial Lenders and Branch staff to attain deposit and product growth objectives.
  • Attends training sessions, user groups, and cash management related training sessions.
  • Prepares agreements/documents for customers as they pertain to products being used.
Requirements

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPEREINCE:

  • Sales and Banking Experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Business, computer, or related technical degree from an accredited institution or 2 years equivalent experience preferred
  • The following certifications not mandatory but a plus: Microsoft MCSM, MCSE 2008 or MCSE 2013 certification, CompTIA Security+ Certification, CISM/CISSP, Project Management

• Knowledge of internal system setups for cash management 

• Knowledge of internal systems for consumer and commercial account opening 

• Ability to function as a team member and contribute to group goals 

• Strong knowledge of general banking principles 


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must have reasonable manual dexterity required to handle small parts and hand tools (screws, screwdrivers). 
  • Must be able to move to and work in and around locations of all equipment for which the position is responsible, in all bank buildings. (This may involve crawling.) 
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move bulky equipment up to 50 pounds. 
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
