Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Full Time
Grand Villa of Port Charlotte is seeking a caring and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated team and serve our community with dedication and professionalism. This full-time position is vital to providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and established care plans
- Monitor residents' health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Document all care provided and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility policies
- Educate residents and their families about health conditions and care procedures
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Florida
- Prior experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and safety standards
