E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Computer Systems Engineer/Architect (DEVSECOPS) to join our team in Offutt AFB, NE in support of USSTRATCOM. USSTRATCOM is a combatant command with responsibilities that span strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), enterprise operations, Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) Operations (JEMSO), global strike, and missile threat assessment. Executing these responsibilities entails close alignment and collaboration with senior national and Department of Defense (DoD) leadership, functional and geographic combatant commands, defense agencies, and other elements of national power. Strategic deterrence is critical to the DoD’s integrated deterrence approach. USSTRATCOM’s ability to communicate is foundational to its mission and success, ensuring the safety and security of the United States (U.S.) and its allies, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (24x365).
Job Responsibilities:
Leads the design and documentation of as-is and to-be enterprise architectures, facilitating trade-off discussions and informing decisions for current and future capabilities. Maintains and updating architecture products throughout the IT Project lifecycle, with a focus on sustaining architecture relevance and currency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate architecture changes, ensuring compliance with DoD standards and security requirements. Supports the execution of MBSE architecture activities using UAF and contributes to the ZTRA implementation by developing system, technical, and security architectures that reflect the evolving needs of the Enterprise. Provides strategic guidance for Enterprise Architecture, Systems Architecture, and Systems Engineering activities, supporting tradeoff discussions and informing decisions for current and future capabilities. Integrates principles of Project Management, Development, Security, and Operations (DEVSECOPS), Agile methodology, and Cloud Computing into all technical activities. Collects and documents requirements within authoritative repositories, developing innovative technical solutions to meet a wide range of IT system needs while maintaining compliance with industry best practices and security standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10-16 years of relevant experience with MS/MA in computer science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field
- Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II security certification (e.g., Security+ ce).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the required level.
