Role
The purpose of the role of Production Team Member is to work in necessary production rooms to mix, bag, and pack egg products.
Responsibilities
- Work in the designated production room as assigned by your supervisor
- Responsible for visually inspecting and ensuring product goes through the equipment designed for quality needs
- Standing on feet in one area for prolonged periods of time – upwards to two or three hours
- Repetitive use of fingers, hand, arms, and shoulders
- Working with uncooked, cooked, frozen, and liquid egg at various temperatures
- Placing ingredients into mixers, bagging frozen egg, or packing finished good into correct box
- May work on production lines that produce products up to 110 pieces per minute
- Communicate with the lead, supervisor, and manager if any problem occurs
- Follow all GMP, SQF and safety policies
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Ability to stand, reach, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull, and stand for up to 10 hours a day
- Lifting requirements are 50lb regularly
- Exposure to variation in temperature
- Working with uncooked, cooked, frozen products
