Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Ophthalmic Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist ophthalmologists in providing high-quality eye care to patients. This role involves performing diagnostic tests, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a smooth and positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist ophthalmologists during examinations and procedures
- Perform diagnostic tests such as visual acuity, tonometry, and retinal imaging
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Document patient history and test results accurately in electronic health records
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation protocols

Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior ophthalmic or healthcare experience preferred, but not required
- Certification (COA or similar) is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
- Comfortable working with medical equipment and technology
