We’re expanding our team to include a Parts Counter Specialist who’s passionate about parts accuracy and efficiency!

Role Overview

As our Parts Counter Specialist, you'll be the go-to expert for sourcing and matching parts—especially those hard-to-find gems. Your dedication to mirror matching and tracking elusive components will ensure our repair teams get exactly what they need, when they need it. You’re not just a parts handler—you’re the untold hero behind every flawless repair.

Core Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly mirror match incoming parts—checking fit, paint, and specs against originals to ensure a perfect replacement.
     
  • Locate and identify hard-to-find parts using catalogs, OEM diagrams, VIN decoders, and industry tools.
     
  • Process ordering, receiving, and stocking of OEM and aftermarket parts; prioritize emergency orders when needed.
     
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, back-orders, returns, and parts staging.
     
  • Communicate promptly with estimators, technicians, and advisors regarding parts status and discrepancies.
     
  • Use shop management systems (e.g., CCC?One, PartsTrader, CollisionLink) to research, order, and verify parts.
     
  • Ensure the parts department remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
     

What You Bring

  • 2+ years experience in a collision center or automotive parts environment, with hands-on mirror-matching exposure.
  • Demonstrated skill in locating, verifying, and researching even the most obscure OEM parts.
     
  • Proficiency with CCC?One, PartsTrader, CollisionLink, or similar systems preferred.
     
  • Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced shop environment.
     
  • Solid communication skills—able to keep teammates informed and parts flowing smoothly.
     
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 50-75?lbs regularly.
     

Nice-to-Have Extras

  • Familiarity with insurance-related parts procurement procedures.
     
  • Previous use of VIN-specific diagrams (AllData, Mitchell), OEM bulletins, and mirrors/staging systems.
     
  • I-CAR or ASE credentials.
