What we are looking for:
MML seeks a talented and passionate Bar Manager to lead our beverage program and enhance our guests' overall dining experience. The Bar Manager will be responsible for curating an outstanding selection of spirits, signature cocktails, craft beers, and fine wines that complement our offerings and showcase the best of Austin's beverage scene.

What you'll do:
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and support the front-of-house team, fostering professionalism, teamwork, and guest satisfaction.
- Train and coach staff on service, product knowledge, and guest engagement.
- Educate the team on beverage offerings, service standards, and responsible alcohol service.
Guest Experience
- Engage with guests to deliver memorable service and ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Address feedback and resolve guest issues promptly and professionally.
- Manage reservations, seating flow, and capacity to reduce wait times.
Operations & Collaboration
- Create and uphold SOPs to ensure efficient daily service.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment, meeting all health regulations.
- Analyze beverage sales and costs to inform menu and pricing strategies.
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen and events teams to align service, pairings, and event execution.
Beverage Program Management
- Curate a dynamic beverage program featuring signature cocktails, local spirits, craft beers, and fine wines.
- Regularly update menus with seasonal and innovative offerings.
- Manage inventory, purchasing, and costs to drive profitability.
- Build strong vendor relationships and stay ahead of trends and customer preferences.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the restaurant industry.
- In-depth food and beverage operations knowledge, including service techniques and product knowledge.
- Proficient in managing inventory, cost control, and analyzing sales data.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the restaurant industry.
- Certified in Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission + Texas Food Management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
