Job Description

This role is responsible for leading a team in the installation of geo-synthetic lining and erosion control

solutions such as Hydro-turf and underground detention facilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Duties:

  • Install geo-synthetic and insulating materials, rolling out liner, basic labor work such as prepping seams and weld/stitch liner using a fusion or extrusion welder
  • Seal the borders of insulating material by heat producing machines and/or sewing
  • Maintenance and repair, geo-synthetic lining and engineering on sediment ponds and other industrial project sites
  • Stage and install various underground detention materials
  • Understand environmental, health & safety regulations and work in a compliant manner
  • Perform a variety of physical labor activities
  • Maintain a safe and clean job site
  • Promotes a positive work environment
  • Overnight travel 90% including work over the weekends.
  • PLEASE NOTE TRAVEL AND OUT OF TOWN WORK IS PART OF THE JOB. You WILL be away from the area for extended periods of time!

Full Time/Hourly

$25-$29 compensation/competitive and commensurate with experience

Requirements

Strong work ethic and ability to lead a liner crew as a team

  • Must have physical stamina sufficient to perform work typical to a construction site such as: lifting and carrying approximately 90 pounds, bending, stooping, climbing in and around construction equipment, dust is expected.
  • 8-12-hour shifts
  • Work is regularly performed in outside in all weather conditions to include rain, cold and heat, high wind, ice, snow, wet conditions, four years or more experience as a Liner Technician/Foreman is expected.
  • Valid Driver’s License (Clean and fuel vehicles and equipment and assist in operations of general site vehicles and equipment.
  • CDL Class A or B (a plus)
  • Experience operating construction equipment i.e. skid steer, excavator, va truck, etc.… (A plus)
