Description

Position Summary: 

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting Watermaker systems and components in a production environment. The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, follows precise instructions, and thrives in a fast-paced, quality-driven setting. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate builds that meet our company’s high standards. 

Production Responsibilities: 

  • Assemble complete Watermaker systems and sub-assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics. 
  • Conduct in-process and final quality control inspections, including full system testing prior to shipment. 
  • Ensure the production area remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols 
  • Accurately package and label systems for domestic and international shipment. 
  • Support inventory control by tracking components, reporting shortages, and assisting with material handling. 
  • Collaborate with the engineering and service teams to identify and resolve assembly issues 
Requirements

 

Qualifications: 

  • Technical degree or vocational training preferred; High school diploma or equivalent 
  • 1–3 years' experience in mechanical, electrical, or marine systems. 
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with basic plumbing and electrical knowledge. 
  • Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams. 
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments. 
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally or occasionally overnight 
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. 
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in tight or elevated spaces.
